WeWED is a wedding photography and videography studio founded by Aline Reis in London, born from the meeting of art, emotion and storytelling. For over a decade, we have created visual stories through a romantic, editorial and cinematic approach, preserving not only the beauty of each celebration, but also its essence.

Our Story

Our story began 12 years ago, during the making of a documentary film. It was in that setting that we met, and from that moment grew not only a personal relationship, but also a creative partnership that would go on to shape everything we do today. Later, we got married, and that connection between life and creation became an essential part of the way we see love, human connection, and the way we tell each couple’s story.

How WeWED began

WeWED came to life after years of Aline’s independent journey and from the desire to create something more solid, refined and consistent. With a background in advertising, she has always brought a strong eye for aesthetics, composition and visual sensitivity. Ricardo, with a background in cinema, added the narrative dimension, emotional depth and technical foundation that now help define the identity of the studio. From this union, a distinct visual language emerged — a balance of romance, intention, delicacy and visual strength. More than a brand, WeWED was born as a way of creating with depth, beauty and honesty.

How we work today

Over the past four years, Ricardo has been the one present at the weddings, documenting each celebration with a cinematic, sensitive and discreet eye, always attentive to the atmosphere, the gestures and the moments that unfold naturally. Aline leads all organisation and post-production, shaping the final result with technique, sensitivity and a refined editorial eye. It is through this process that each story gains cohesion, rhythm and finish, preserving the identity of WeWED in every delivery. This way of working allows us to approach each wedding with care, intention and consistency at every stage.

Experience across the UK and Europe

Over more than a decade, we have photographed and filmed weddings across different parts of Europe, developing an eye that adapts to different cultures, rhythms and settings without ever losing the essence of our work. We have been based in the UK for more than eight years, now in London, working across city celebrations, destination weddings, and events held in both historic and contemporary venues.

The team

As WeWED has grown, other professionals have become part of the studio. Today, we work alongside Kim and other talented creatives, all united by a shared vision of sensitivity, discretion and excellence.
With over 10 years of experience as a wedding videographer in the UK, Kim is an essential part of the team, bringing a cinematic eye, technical precision and emotional depth to every film.

Our approach brings together romance, sophistication and naturalness. We are drawn to timeless beauty, to light, composition and the details that give depth to a story, but we believe none of that has real meaning without honesty. On the wedding day, we work with a discreet presence, allowing moments to unfold naturally and stepping in only when needed. The result is a visual narrative shaped by sensitivity, elegance and intention — imagery and films that preserve not only how the day looked, but how it felt.
